How long since you reviewed your governance procedures?

If you are a registered charity, you now need to review your governance procedures at least once every three years (starting from 05 Oct 2023). This law change is designed to ensure your officers regularly think about how your charity runs, and whether your rules and processes are still fit for purpose. In particular you at a minimum will need to consider (a) if they are fit for purpose, (b) assist you to achieve your charitable purpose, and © assist you comply with the Charities Act.
